Manufacturing Team Leader Press / Burn / Material Handling / Saw / Bevel (INTERNAL JOB POSTING)

Summary
R-Tech is accepting internal applications for a Manufacturing Team Leader to support daily operations across Press, Burn, Material Handling, Saw, and Bevel. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining safety and quality standards, and providing clear direction on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily work assignments and priorities across assigned work centers
Ensure team members remain productive and follow safety and quality standards
Address minor issues directly and escalate concerns to the Supervisor as needed
Assist with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving
Support training and onboarding of new and existing employees
Communicate production, staffing, or equipment issues to leadership
Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
Post-secondary technical training, apprenticeship experience, or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred
Combination of education and experience will be considered
Minimum Qualifications
Current R-Tech employee in good standing
Demonstrated reliability and acceptable attendance
Experience in one or more of the assigned work centers
Ability to communicate clearly and lead by example
Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
Experience across multiple shop areas (Press, Burn, Saw, Bevel, Material Handling)
Prior experience as a lead operator, trainer, or informal go-to resource
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to redirect peers and escalate issues appropriately
Additional Expectations
Lead by example in safety, attendance, and conduct
Work collaboratively with Supervisors and Managers
May be required to support day or night shift coverage as needed
